Lifehouse: Who we are

I must take time from my busy schedule to express my feelings about this band. They are the greatest band out there today. This is the band known for songs such as "Hanging by a moment," "You and me," "Come back down," and "Blind." For the past few years, Lifehouse has brought positive, thoughtful, encouraging, provocative, well-crafted, and pleasing music to an era of reality TV stars, government deception, and talentless lyp-synching trashy underachievers. Their latest album has themes of love, struggle, and moving forward. It is pleasing to listen to from beginning to end and repeatedly. I highly recommend this album for those who enjoy acoustic music and Jason Wade's awesome voice.

Jason's voice and lyrics are as noteworthy as ever. "First Time," the first single, is fun, fast, and fabulous. "Whatever it takes" is thoughtful, contrite, and could easily be a hit single. "Make me over" is another one of my favourites from this album. It is upbeat and a classic Lifehouse tune. The piano introduction for "Learn you inside out" is different from the usual acoustic introductions, but beautiful and fitting. It's a song worthy of release as a single and laud. "Storm" is a poignant a capella piece which underscores Jason's outstanding vocal talent. It's a nice finish to a remarkable album.
