Lifehouse at the House of Blues

I went to my 1st Lifehouse show on Thursday at the House of Blues in Anaheim. I've never seen a major band in concert before, and it was certainly a good time. Lifehouse truly is my favourite band. Jason Wade's voice was as terrific as usual and so was the music. I did not like waiting 3 hours for them to perform though. They started the show at 10. I got home at 12:30. That would have been okay had it been a Friday or Saturday night, but it was Thursday night and I had to work the next morning. Nevertheless, it was well worth it. The only other disappointment was when Bryce Soderberg sang lead for 2 of the songs--Bridges and The Joke. Bryce's voice is rather thin and his range is limited. He should definitely stick to playing the guitar and singing back-up. The set list was also strong. They opened the show with Disarray. They performed the hits Spin, Hanging by a moment, First time, and Take me away. They also performed Somebody else's song, Quasimodo, Who we are, Storm, Whatever it takes, and From where you are. Unfortunately, they did not perform Blind (my favourite), Come back down, Sick Cycle Carousel, or Breathing. Hopefully they'll peform Blind the next time that I see them.
